things have intensified
while I was asleep
the winds are absolutely
horrifying and catastrophic
my friends are still mostly
at play
we stand in the stoop
of the lobby
the winds are horror
the winds are a great howl
three people have black raincoats on
and are walking up the sidewalk
together like it’s a personal challenge
I have never seen anything like this
I am told we’re getting close to the
peak of the storm
to come back out for a look…
