Ki,
I’ve actually had a pretty productive day. Let’s see, I’ve worked out some (lifted the dumbbell), successfully entered in the data for enemp. on their web site, and most importantly, studied the hell out of some HTML via Adobe GoLive, thanks to some video tutorials I’ve found.
From what I gather, I think there is a LOT of money in building e-commerce websites for companies. I’m going to make this a hobby of mine, check into it, and see just how hard it is to do. If it’s something I could master, I could basically go around to smaller companies and build web stores and databases for them. In the future, I could be skilled enough to work on a team that builds these for large companies like Amazon.com. This print thing is just fading in a lot of ways; an individual designer, I think, is safer developing his/her skills in the direction the world is going in, which is paperless. This is why my old friend Wilson (and Rodney, too) had such a good idea in learning Java programming, because Java is small code that works in all these things that people take for granted, like gas pumps, ATMs, palm pilot applications, cell phones, etc.
Man, these videos just get me so spastic.
K. and Big Brother Bear are being little darlings, as usual. She is a sleepy baby tonight. Speaking of Big Brother, Drew has placed Nakomis and Diane up on the block, with the utmost certainty that Cowboy (the only one able to vote next week) will actually axe his half-sister. I almost believe it myself. Oh, such trivialities!
I hit the coffee shop tonight because I was feeling quite cooped up, and talked with that nice Egyptian man, Makram. He asked about you, how you were doing over there, and told me to say hello. “I always enjoy hearing stories of people’s travels.”
I think that’s about it for now, super sweetheart. Good morning to you… I hope you have a great Sunday.
