she says some people believe when you’re gone, you’re gone. some believe you go to heaven. I believe, she says, when you die, that’s heaven. she might have a point there. I thought it was interesting. her son schooled her on this one part – why couldn’t she communicate with her father as he could? because you’re not listening, he said. she’s at least wise enough to listen to her son. a lesson in wisdom. that is, listen well. listen to everything around you, take in, process. not just listen with your ears, but with your whole self. feelingly pull truth out of the air, where God is.
